Commence procedures for Engine Mount Bracket replacement by removing the engine mounts first. Start with unscrewing bolts 1 and 2 that secure the right Engine Mount Bracket and after that remove the bracket itself. Next comes the disconnection of the Engine Mount stud cable harness and removing its harness clamp and battery positive cable harness nut and rf ground strap. The next procedure requires the removal of the left Engine Mount Bracket studs and bolts before taking out the Engine Mount Bracket. The service procedure initiates with installation of the left Engine Mount Bracket along with its stud to the engine block following fastener notice requirements mentioned in service precautions. The left Engine Mount Bracket bolts need torquing to 102 nm (75 ft. Lbs.) and Engine Mount Bracket stud requires torquing to 87 nm (64 ft. Lbs.). Install the positive cable harness by attaching it to the Engine Mount Bracket stud and rf ground strap then connect the harness clamp to the stud before finally torques the battery positive cable harness nut to 25 nm (18 ft. Lbs.). Reinstall the right Engine Mount Bracket into position alongside its bolts (1 and 2) which then need tightening at two Engine Mount Bracket bolts to 102 nm (75 ft. Lbs.) and one Engine Mount Bracket bolt to 50 nm (37 ft. Lbs.).

Starting replacement of the Engine Mount Bracket requires you to initially detach the engine mounts. The next step requires removal of the right Engine Mount Bracket bolts (1,2) and the right Engine Mount Bracket . The procedure starts with disconnecting the battery positive cable harness from the Engine Mount stud while unfastening the battery positive cable harness nut and removing harness clamp from the stud with rf ground strap detachment. The next operations require an Engine Mount Bracket bolt removal from left side followed by left Engine Mount Bracket stud and Engine Mount Bracket extraction. You should start the installation process by fastening the left Engine Mount Bracket to the engine block along with its stud while torquing the bracket bolts to 102 nm (75 ft. Lbs.) and the stud to 87 nm (64 ft. Lbs.). The Engine Mount Bracket stud receives connection of the positive cable harness after which the rf ground strap installation takes place with harness clamp attachment to the stud followed by battery positive cable harness nut installation at 25 nm (18 ft. Lbs.). Fasten the right Engine Mount Bracket with bolts (1,2) onto the engine block while tightening the two Engine Mount Bracket bolts to 102 nm (75 ft. Lbs.) and the Engine Mount Bracket bolt to 50 nm (37 ft. Lbs.). Finally, reinstall the Engine Mount(s).

Reinstall the transmission support to the vehicle and secure it with bolts tightened to 90 Nm (65 ft. lbs.).

Raise the vehicle again to remove the right and left engine mount bolts and mounts.

Install the transmission mount nut and tighten it to 57 Nm (43 ft. lbs.).

A transmission stand should be used to support the transmission.

Visually inspect the rubber portions of the engine mount for damage.

Install the left and right side engine mount through bolt nuts, tightening each to 80 Nm (59 ft. lbs.), then reinstall the 3-way catalytic converter, lower the vehicle, and reattach the ignition control module and generator.

Remove the right engine mount through bolt and the left engine mount through bolt.
