    Q:
How to replace the left engine mount bracket on an AWD on Cadillac CTS? Posted by Customer
    A:
The awd vehicle replacement process for the left Engine Mount Bracket starts by installing an engine support fixture. First removw the lower Engine Mount retaining nut but do it carefully to avoid bending or warping the Engine Mount heat shield since working with the Engine Mount Bracket assembly will be most efficient. First separate the left Engine Mount Bracket by taking out its retaining bolts together with the bracket itself. Climb next to remove the top Engine Mount retaining nut then detach the Engine Mount from the Engine Mount Bracket. The installation process begins by fixing the Engine Mount to the Engine Mount Bracket then applying the top Engine Mount retaining nut while tightening it to 80 n.m (59 lb ft). The procedure requires you to install the left Engine Mount along with its bracket assembly and to fasten the bracket retaining bolts at 60 n.m (44 lb ft). Finish the installation by placing the Engine Mount lower retaining nut then torque it to 80 n.m (59 lb ft) before removing the engine support fixture.
