    To replace for the Brake Caliper Bracket it is necessary to follow the line of disassembling where you take out the caliper and brake pads from the caliper anchor bracket. Secondly, take off the bolts of caliper anchor bracket and the bracket itself. When installing, also make a few drops of gm loctite tm or the like on the threads of the caliper anchor bracket bolts or new pre-coated bolts. The caliper anchor bracket is installed to the Steering Knuckle (front) or to the lower Control Arm (rear), strictly complying with the fastener notice in service precautions. Fit the caliper anchor bracket bolts tightening the front bolts to 185 nm (137ft. Lbs) and rear bolts to 124 nm (94ft. Lbs). Finally, install the brake caliper.

    While servicing and repairing the brake caliper bracket, there is the need of removing the caliper anchor bracket. Mount the anchor bracket in a vise, remove those Pin bolt boots from the Caliper anchor bracket. Check and pull the bushings out of the anchor bracket mounting bores by bending them inward with a screwdriver or punch and pulling them out with needle nose pliers. Clean all components, using clean denatured alcohol, and dry your mechanism, vaporing it using unlubricated compressed air. Check the rear brake caliper anchor earning for cracks. If any, replace the bracket. Install new bushings into bracket mounting bores and lubricate them followed by install new pin bolt boots onto anchor bracket and lubricate them. Finally, reinstall the anchor bracket to the vehicle.
