How to replace the Air Suspension Compressor on Buick LeSabre? Posted by Customer
    A:
The first step to replace an Air Suspension Compressor includes vehicle elevation and right rear wheel removal together with right rear wheelhouse extension removal. Soak and wipe down all Air Hose components to avoid contamination before you detach either the intake Air Filter connection or the Air Suspension Compressor. Separate the air dryer air tube before removing the bolt and harness tie securing it to its Air Suspension Compressor bracket position. After disconnecting the vehicle harness connector from the Air Suspension Compressor connector the technician needs to remove two nuts, the Air Suspension Compressor assembly and the bolt from the vehicle. Start by sliding the Air Suspension Compressor connector off its connector anchor position but keep two bolts holding the heat shield to the Air Suspension Compressor bracket while you detach these three bolts which fasten the Air Suspension Compressor assembly to its bracket. The air dryer needs to be removed from the compressor and air hoses need to be detached from two connections on the compressor. After this happens two screws and two brackets can be removed from the compressor. Secure the two brackets onto the Air Suspension Compressor with two screws that should reach 7 nm of torque (62 inch lbs). The installation requires an Air Hose to connect to two points on the Air Suspension Compressor before installing the air dryer onto the compressor. Install your Air Suspension Compressor assembly onto the bracket using three bolts but leave the third heat shield bolt until after you complete your air tube installation. Set all three bolts to 3 nm torque while omitting inch lbs. Measurement units. Secure the Air Suspension Compressor bracket's heat shield using two 4 nm (35 inch lbs.) bolt torques before connecting the Air Suspension Compressor connector to its anchor point. After mounting the Air Suspension Compressor assembly to the vehicle's body with two nuts and a bolt apply force of 9 nm (80 inch lbs.) to both fasteners and bolt. Connect the Air Suspension Compressor harness to its connector then add the intake Air Filter and link the air tube to the air dryer. Finish by securing the air tube with harness tie at the Air Suspension Compressor bracket using a 4 nm (35 inch lbs.) bolt torque value. To finish the operation replace both right rear components including wheelhouse extension and wheel. A complete waiting period of 45 seconds after ignition activation leads to residual pressure filling within air adjustable shock absorbers before you should lower the vehicle.

    Q:
How to Properly Service and Repair the Air Suspension Compressor on Buick LeSabre? Posted by Customer
    A:
Vehicle elevation and right rear wheel removal and right rear fascia extension detachment should be completed before beginning replacement work on the Air Suspension Compressor. The Air Hose connection to the intake Air Filter and Air Suspension Compressor must be freed up after you clean all parts and associated areas to keep dirt outside the elc system. Start by detaching the air tube from the air dryer and afterward break loose the bolt and the harness tie-strap with the air tube which connects to the Air Suspension Compressor bracket structure. First, remove the vehicle harness connector from the Air Suspension Compressor connector along with both nuts and bolt and the Air Suspension Compressor assembly from the vehicle. Use a wrench to remove the Air Suspension Compressor connector from its anchor point before undoing the bracket's two bolts and heat shield then detach the Air Suspension Compressor assembly from the bracket by removing three additional bolts. The Air Suspension Compressor needs two separate location detachments of its air dryer and hose assemblies before its screws and brackets can be removed. You must install the two compressor brackets by using two screws while setting the torque to 7 nm (62 inch lbs.). The Air Suspension Compressor requires Air Hose connections at two points before air dryer installation. Install the Air Suspension Compressor assembly on the bracket following the application of three bolts which require a 3 nm (26 inch lbs.) torque setting but delay the installation of the third heat shield bolt until you complete the air tube setup. Fit the Air Suspension Compressor bracket heat shield in place through two bolts which require a torque setting of 4 nm (35 inch lbs.). Next, secure the Air Suspension Compressor connector with the connector anchor. Secure the Air Suspension Compressor assembly onto the vehicle through two nuts and a bolt by tightening them to 9 nm (80 inch lbs.). The Air Suspension Compressor service harness should attach to the Air Suspension Compressor connector after users install the intake Air Filter and connect the air tube to the air dryer. Move to complete the installation by routing the air tube and harness tie to the Air Suspension Compressor bracket where you should fasten it with the bolt at 4 nm (35 inch lbs.). After this step you can reinstall the right rear fascia extension and the right rear wheel. During vehicle preparation for a drive enable ignition then wait 45 seconds to allow air adjustable shock absorbers to receive residual pressure before lowering the vehicle.

    Q:
How to replace the Air Suspension Compressor on Buick Park Avenue? Posted by Customer
    A:
Replace the Air Suspension Compressor by first installing vehicle support stands before raising the vehicle. The cleaning of all air hoses along with intake air filters and Air Suspension Compressor space will stop foreign matter from reaching the alc system. First disconnect the air tube from the air dryer while you remove the bolt that holds down the air tube to the Air Suspension Compressor bracket and extract the intake Air Filter. First remove the Air Suspension Compressor connector's vehicle harness then unscrew the two nuts and bolt and Air Suspension Compressor assembly which are attached to the vehicle. Detach the Air Suspension Compressor connector from its mount before removing two bracket-bracket anchor bolts and the heating shield. Then separate the Air Suspension Compressor assembly from its bracket using three mounting bolts. Begin by disconnecting the air dryer from the compressor then remove two air hoses from compressor locations then remove two screws and two brackets from the Air Suspension Compressor body. Installation requires attaching each bracket to the Air Suspension Compressor through two screws tightened to 7 nm (62 inch lbs.) before connecting the Air Hose to two locations and mounting the air dryer against the compressor. First secure the Air Suspension Compressor assembly to the bracket by tightening three bolts to 3 nm (26 inch lbs.), after which the heat shield should be attached to the Air Suspension Compressor bracket with two bolts left loose for future use. First secure the Air Suspension Compressor assembly to the vehicle using a bolt tightened to 9 nm (80 inch lbs.) while applying two nuts followed by connector anchor connection to the Air Suspension Compressor connector and harness attachment at the connector anchor. Once the intake Air Filter is available replace it while you attach the air tube to the air dryer before you secure this connection with harness tie fastened to the Air Suspension Compressor bracket by tightening all three bolts to 4 nm (35 inch lbs.). The alc system needs 45 seconds of ignition time to execute the arc before lowering the vehicle. This waiting period allows residual pressure to fill the air adjustable shock absorbers after starting the engine.
