    At the start detach the washer hose from its connector along with the protective cap. Press the Wiper Arm up and insert a suitable pin or pop rivet through its two mounting holes near the pivot. Afterward, take out the nut. Connect the battery terminal puller to remove the Wiper Arm from the transmission drive shaft. Clean the knurls of the transmission drive shaft by brushing them with a wire brush. Take off the Wiper Blade from its position on the Wiper Arm. Set the Wiper Blade on the Wiper Arm first. Then place the Wiper Arm segment onto the transmission drive shaft at a 25 mm (1 in) distance from the park ramp base surface. Lift the Wiper Arm off the transmission drive shaft and replace it with the new nut that you tighten to 32 n.m (24 lb ft). Place the Wiper Arm over the park ramp, replace the protective cover and reconnect the washer hose to its connector. Start wipers and examine if the lh blade tip ends its stroke 78 mm (3.063 inches) from the pillar while the rh blade overlaps the lh wipe area. Then turn off wipers to verify the parking position.
