To replace the inside air temperature sensor begin by rotating the temperature sensor on the aspirator hose counterclockwise for 1/4 turn while simultaneously disconnecting its electrical connector. To set up the replacement begin by attaching the temperature sensor electrical connector followed by inserting the inside air temperature sensor into the aspirator hose and rotating it clockwise 1/4 turn. Reinstall the aspirator hose first into the instrument panel before installing the knee bolster and cluster trim plate.

Pull the aspirator hose toward the rear to separate it from the instrument panel assembly. First unplug the temperature sensor electrical connector then pull the temperature sensor free from the aspirator hose by rotating it counterclockwise 1/4 turn. Begin by attaching the temperature sensor electrical connector before installing the inside air temperature sensor onto the aspirator hose where it should be turned clockwise 1/4 turn. After putting the aspirator hose back into place reinstall the knee bolster then install the right instrument panel trim plate.
