Item replacement for the Ambient Temperature Sensor / switch hvac begins with removing the instrument panel storage compartment. You need to twist the Air Temperature Sensor 1/4 turn counterclockwise to remove it before disconnecting its electrical connector. Attach the electrical connector to the Air Temperature Sensor before placing the sensor into the duct and closing it by turning it clockwise. You must put the instrument panel storage compartment back in its original place.
