The process of replacing the Radiator fan and shroud with pwm starts with taking safety measures that involve avoiding contact with underhood electric fans because they might activate even when the engine is turned off. The installation process must begin with both ignition and start switch in off or lock mode and electric loads turned off. Additionally, disconnect the negative battery cable whenever tools approach live electrical terminations. The appropriate work begins by removing the Radiator support before disconnecting engine wiring harness from Radiator fan shroud and surge tank outlet hose from retaining clips on shroud. First raise the vehicle and remove the stabilizer shaft before disconnecting both the Radiator fan electrical connector and its stabilizer shaft. The procedure starts with disconnecting the lower transmission oil cooler line from the Radiator then moving on to remove the Radiator fan shroud retaining bolts and finally remove the Radiator fan and shroud. Put the Radiator fan and shroud onto the Radiator properly before installing the Radiator fan followed by the shroud then tightening retaining bolts to 5 n.m (44 lb in). Reestablish the connection for the lower transmission oil cooler line before attaching the Radiator fan electrical connector and stabilizer shaft. After the surge tank outlet hose's installation onto retaining clips of the Radiator fan shroud, connect engine wiring harnesses to the shroud before reinstalling the Radiator support.

The replacement process of pwm requires starting with Radiator support removal. Disconnect the wiring harness from the Radiator fan shroud along with the surge tank outlet hose from the retaining clips located on the shroud. Lift the vehicle with support and remove the stabilizer shaft. The Radiator fan electrical connector and lower transmission oil cooler line must be disconnected from the Radiator for the replacement. The procedure starts with removing Radiator fan shroud retaining bolts before extracting the Radiator fan along with the shroud. Place the Radiator fan and shroud correctly on the Radiator before installing both components together. Reconnect the lower transmission oil cooler line before installing the Radiator fan electrical connector then tighten all Radiator fan shroud retaining bolts to 5 nm (44 lb in). Put back the stabilizer shaft, lower the car and fasten the surge tank outlet hose to retaining clips near the Radiator fan shroud. The last step involves reattaching the engine wiring harness to the fan shroud parts while also reinstalling the Radiator support.

Before working on the Radiator fan replacement without pwm, you must maintain safe practices by avoiding contact with the electric fan area due to start-up hazard. Fan blades and housings that show any bending or damage or cracking must be replaced right away to safeguard against accidents and automobile damage. Start with Radiator fan and shroud that should rest correctly on the Radiator before installing Radiator fan and shroud followed by lower transmission oil cooler line and Radiator fan electrical connector. First lower the vehicle down then install the stabilizer shaft before you attach the surge tank outlet hose to retaining clips on the Radiator fan shroud and complete the installation of the engine wiring harness and Radiator support.

Begin by removing the radiator support and disconnecting the engine wiring harness from the cooling fan shroud.
