The service starts with removing the fuel sender assembly while performing connector and clip disconnections for the fuel pump electrical connection and fuel level sensor electrical connection. The process begins with disconnecting the fuel level sensor electrical connector which lies beneath the fuel sender cover and removing the retaining clip that secures it. After that, push down the locking tangs to take out the fuel level sensor component. Position the fuel level sensor correctly and retain it with the clip before you connect the fuel level sensor electrical connector and install the connector's retaining component. To finish the replacement process connect the fuel pump electrical connector while reattaching the fuel sender assembly.
