The module requires the removal of its Fuel Level Sensor electrical connector before proceeding. The procedure to remove the Fuel Level Sensor from its position in the module consists of pulling the locking tab away from the sensor before moving the sensor away from the module assembly. When installing the sensor users should align its tabs with slot openings in the module before fully inserting the sensor while the locking tab remains engaged. Finally, users should connect the Fuel Level Sensor electrical connector to the module. The last installation step involves reinstalling the primary Fuel Tank module followed by reinstallation of the Fuel Tank.
