Headlamp Assembly, Passenger Side

First open the hood and apply a light amount of pressure on the headlamp lens to keep it in position before you remove the retainers. first detach the headlamp retainers by lifting them up then you can remove the retainers. Extract the upper fascia support's and fender reinforcement's slots mounting tabs before unconnecting the headlamp electrical connector to remove the headlamp unit. The rubber access covers behind the target headlamp bulb must be extracted according to the designated Halogen Bulb Caution procedures. Begin by rotating the bulb base counterwise while releasing it until the bulb and electric connector disconnect from the headlamp. Connect the electrical connector to the new headlamp bulb followed by bulb installation into the headlamp unit then rotate the bulb base clockwise to lock it in place. Place rubber access covers back into position before connecting the electrical connector to the headlamp. Insert the headlamp mounting tabs into openings of the upper fascia support and fender reinforcement but maintain gentle pressure on the headlamp lens during retainer installation. Press the retainers down onto their mounting tabs until they are seated before checking if the headlamp fits correctly. Close the hood to inspect the headlamp aim when a new headlamp is installed or after completing front end service or repair work which could affect the headlamp mounting brackets.

Starting the process of headlamp assembly or bulb or cornering, sidemarker, park, turn signal bulb replacement requires the hood to be opened first. You should use gentle pressure to stabilize the lens as you remove the retainers before lifting them off to extract the retainers. Remove the headlamp by detaching its mounting tabs from both the fender reinforcement as well as upper fascia support while taking out the electrical connector that feeds into the headlamp. You should begin by removing the rubber access covers which hide behind the light bulb/sockets that will be replaced while rotating the headlamp bulb/socket counterclockwise to release it while always observing the Halogen Bulb Caution. Detach the headlamp bulb/socket from the headlamp system while also disconnecting the electrical connector. To install the bulb/socket connect the electrical connector to the headlamp bulb/socket afterward insert the bulb/socket into the headlamp by rotating it clockwise until it reaches full seating position. First reconnect the electrical connector to the headlamp and then place the headlamp mounting tabs into the slots found on the upper fascia support and fender reinforcement. Finally reinstall the rubber access covers. Use light hand pressure on the headlamp lens during installation by placing retainers over mounting tabs before pressing down for full seating. Once you complete the check and aim testing of the headlamp be sure to close the hood.

Open the hood to replace the headlamp assembly or headlamp bulb, which includes the cornering, sidemarker, park, and turn signal bulbs. Applying light pressure to the headlamp lens to keep it stable while detaching the retainers and then releasing and removing retainers. Next, unbolt the headlamp mounting tabs from the slots of the upper fascia support and fender reinforcement, as well as disconnect the electrical connector from the headlamp before removing it. Remove the rubber access covers at the rear of the headlamp bulb/sockets to be replaced, paying attention to the Halogen Bulb Caution. Remove headlamp bulb/socket by rotating it counterclockwise, and then take it off by disconnecting the electric connector. For installation, you shall connect the electrical connector to the new headlamp bulb:/socket and install it on the headlamp and rotate clockwise to full seat. Reinstall the rubber access covers, the electrical connector of the headlamp is connected to the headlamp, and the headlamp mounting tabs are in the slots. Use gentle pressure against the headlamp lens while inserting retainers that will be placed on the mounting tabs such that they will be pressed down until they are fully inserted. Finally, look at the headlamp for its good fit and look at the aim if replacing vehicle's headlamp for mounting brackets might be disrupted by service or repairing work, then close your hood.

To change the headlamp assembly or headlamp bulb and or cornering, sidemarker, park and turn signal bulb, first open the hood. When you will remove the retainers apply the light pressure on the head lamp lens to grip it appropriately, then have removal of the retainers accomplished by lifting the retainers outward to free and remove. Next, remove the headlamp mounting tabs out of the slots in the upper fascia support and the fender reinforcement and then the electrical connector of the headlamp before removing the headlamp itself. Take out the rubber access covers from behind the headlamp bulb/sockets to be replaced while observing the Halogen Bulb Caution. Turn the headlamp bulb/socket counterclockwise and remove it, disconnect the electrical connector to the bulb/socket. For installation, you can plug in the electrical connector to the new headlamp bulb/socket and install it into the headlamp but rotate it clockwise till it is seated. Replace the rubber access covers, plug into the electronic connector the head lamp, and locate the slots for the head lamp mounting tabs. Gently press on the headlamp lens during fitting of the retainers when placing them on top of the mounting tabs and pressing down until they are fully seated. Check the fit of the headlamp and test the aim if the headlamp was replaced because there is a new one or if something during service or repairs could have shifted the mounting brackets. Finally, close the hood.
