    To replace the front brake hose, first clean the two ends where the hose fits to clear all dirt, grease and foreign material. Pull out the brake hose and then remove the clip, bolt, and washers, followed by the end of the steel pipe. When installing a new brake hose, make sure it is not twisted and does not contact any other components and use new copper washers at the time of installation. Really tighten the bolt then 44 Nm (32 ft. lbs.) and put the clip. Finally, link steel pipe and bleed brake to finalize the procedure.

    How to replace the front brake line on GMC C2500? Posted by Customer

    When working on the front brake hose you must first jack up the vehicle and take off its tire and wheel. Erase contaminants from all hose contact points before pulling out the brake pipe from the frame. Detach the brake hose retaining clip and afterwards remove the brake hose bolt from both the frame and upper Control Arm. After taking off the caliper bracket, remove the bolt from the Steering Knuckle. Take out the brake hose by removing its caliper mounting bolt and compression washers at each end and discarding the washers. Open space allows you to place the new brake hose correctly before fastening the caliper mounting bolt to 45 n.m (33 lb ft. Wind up the brake hose bolt and bracket onto the Steering Knuckle and upper Control Arm till they measure 9 N.m (80 lb in) torque, then spice up the brake hose bolt to the framework at 12 n.m (106 lb in). Secure the brake hose retaining clip and join the brake pipe through the bolt that you tighten to 25 n.m. Perform brake bleeding work and put back the tire and wheel components. Take away the safety stands and let the vehicle down.

Follow these steps when replacing the front brake hose: disconnect the steel pipe while removing the clip and bolt it alongside washers before you pull the brake hose off. When installing the new brake hose make sure it stays untwisted and avoids contact with other components using new copper washers during the installation process. Use a wrench to torque the bolt to 44 Nm (32 ft. lbs.) before attaching the steel pipe with its clip. Performance of the brake system requires bleeding after finishing this work.
