    Q:
How to replace the Power Steering Hose on Buick Enclave? Posted by Customer
    A:
You need to start the replacement of the Power Steering Cooler pipe/hose by taking out the right front frontwards wheelhouse liner. Drain pans should be positioned under the vehicle as required. You should first loosen the Power Steering Cooler pipe clamp while disconnecting the Power Steering Cooler pipe from its attachment point at the power steering fluid cooler. The power steering gear needs its outlet hose bracket bolt removed along with discarding its outlet hose clamp. Disconnect the Power Steering Cooler pipe from the power steering gear outlet hose (4,3) while removing all plastic retaining clips on the Power Steering Cooler pipe. Discard those clips along with the connection. Extract the Power Steering Cooler pipe from the motor vehicle. The new Power Steering Cooler pipe requires positioning according to specifications followed by installation of a new Power Steering Cooler pipe clamp. The Power Steering Cooler pipe requires connection to the power steering gear outlet hose (4,3) according to fastener caution guidelines. Screw and tighten the power steering gear outlet hose bracket bolt to a torque of 8 nm (71 lb in). Attach the Power Steering Cooler pipe to the power steering fluid cooler while at the same time tightening the Power Steering Cooler pipe clamp. The installer should both drain excess fluid and empty the specified pans before putting back the right front frontwards wheelhouse liner. Bleeding the power steering system together with filling it marks the end of the installation process.
