The first step for changing the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose requires removing the fuel injector sight shield. The next step requires extracting all possible power steering fluid from the remote power steering fluid reservoir with drain pans positioned underneath the vehicle. The power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose must be disconnected from both its connections with the remote power steering fluid reservoir and the Power Steering Pump while removing the necessary retaining clips. When done with the outlet hose removal step, proceed with installing the new power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose in correct positions between the Power Steering Pump and remote power steering fluid reservoir. The process includes cleaning all unwanted fluid from the vehicle and then removing drain pans while bleeding and filling the power steering system.
