The first step for repairing or servicing the Exhaust Pipe/Muffler hanger involves elevating the vehicle then using support mechanisms. Then, support the exhaust system. The service begins with removing the Exhaust Pipe hanger from both Exhaust Pipe and Exhaust Hanger bracket before continuing with the Exhaust Pipe hanger from Exhaust Pipe and the Exhaust Hanger bracket. The Exhaust Pipe rear hangers should be removed both from the Muffler and from the rear Exhaust Hanger brackets. When installing you should first outfit the Exhaust Pipe rear hangers to both the Muffler and the rear Exhaust Hanger brackets. The sequence starts with the Exhaust Pipe hanger being installed to both the Exhaust Pipe and the Exhaust Hanger bracket followed by the Exhaust Pipe hanger installation to the Exhaust Pipe together with the Exhaust Hanger bracket. Check the exhaust system for clearance from the underbody after removing the support and then decrease the height of the vehicle.

Vehicle elevation followed by system support constitutes the first step for Exhaust Hanger replacement. Detach the hanger from the Exhaust Pipe as well as the hanger bracket and then detach the rear hangers from the Muffler and the associated brackets on the pipe hanger. To install hook the Exhaust Pipe rear hangers onto the Muffler followed by the rear Exhaust Hanger brackets then join the hanger to both Exhaust Pipe and Exhaust Hanger bracket. Complete the installation of materials by fixing the Exhaust Pipe hanger to both the Exhaust Pipe and the Exhaust Hanger bracket . Remove support from the exhaust system while checking for underbody contact then lower the vehicle.

Akin to the previous step support the exhaust system before dismounting both Exhaust Pipe hanger from the Exhaust Pipe and Exhaust Hanger bracket. The next step should involve removing Exhaust Pipe rear hangers from both their positions on the Muffler and rear Exhaust Hanger brackets. Installation begins with attaching the Exhaust Pipe rear hangers to the Muffler then to the rear Exhaust Hanger brackets and continuing with connecting the Exhaust Pipe hanger to its respective Exhaust Pipe before fixing it to the Exhaust Hanger bracket. Using the Exhaust Pipe hanger, hanger bracket and Exhaust Pipe attach them to their proper positions before removing the support from the system for underbody contact examination while lowering the vehicle.

The procedure to replace the exhaust hanger mounting bracket starts with vehicle lift via a lifting support system in agreement with vehicle lifting guidelines. Before replacing the exhaust system users should provide support to the exhaust assembly while extracting the insulators from the exhaust muffler rear hanger bracket. Drilling all tasks requires the outboard rear bumper impact bar bolt loosening followed by complete removal of the inboard rear bumper impact bar bolt before extracting the exhaust muffler rear hanger bracket. When you install the exhaust muffler rear hanger bracket you must start by placing it into position before you fasten the inboard and outboard rear bumper impact bar bolts with a torque of 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.). Proceed next to install the exhaust pipe rear hanger insulators onto the exhaust muffler rear hanger bracket then remove the support from the exhaust system while checking for any underbody contact before lowering the vehicle.

The replacement process for an Exhaust Hanger begins with raising and supporting the vehicle while supporting the exhaust system. After that you can remove the hanger from the Exhaust Pipe and Exhaust Hanger bracket. The first step involves removing the Exhaust Pipe hanger from the Exhaust Pipe and the Exhaust Hanger bracket before proceeding with the separation of the Exhaust Pipe rear hangers from the Muffler with the subsequent removal of rear Exhaust Hanger brackets. When installing the exhaust system begin by fastening the Exhaust Pipe rear hangers to the Muffler followed by the rear Exhaust Hanger brackets and then hook the Exhaust Pipe hanger to its corresponding bracket. Reinstalls both the Exhaust Pipe hanger onto the Exhaust Pipe and the Exhaust Hanger bracket along with returning the support system from the exhaust system while checking underbody contact and lowering the vehicle.

Raise and support the vehicle using appropriate lifting equipment.

Remove the support from the exhaust system, inspect for underbody contact, and lower the vehicle.

Connect the exhaust pipe hanger to the exhaust pipe and the exhaust hanger bracket.

Inspect for any underbody contact.

Remove the support from the exhaust system and lower the vehicle.

Finally, lower the vehicle.

Use a suitable jack to support the exhaust system.

Raise and support the vehicle using appropriate lifting techniques.

Inspect the brackets for serviceability and repair or replace them as necessary.
