    You should start the Electronic Suspension Control Module (F55) replacement by disconnecting the rear storage compartment trim and the two bay board fasteners. Set the bay board at a distance from the body surface and position it with the module side facing up in the rear compartment. You should depress the locking tab to remove the ESC module from the bay board. Then disconnect the harness connectors from the ESC module. The installation requires plugging harness connectors into the ESC module then placing the ESC module into bay board tabs followed by locking tab installation until bay board placement at the vehicle body where Fastener Notice must be noted in Service Precautions. The bay board installation requires you to fasten the retaining nuts before tightening them to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.). Afterward, install the rear storage compartment trim. Complete the procedure by programming the ESC module followed by scanning a tool to execute the Bump Stop Trim Set process.

    The first step in replacing an electronic Suspension Control Module (ESC module) is to take out the rear seat back and shift the rear seat back insulator. The esc module removal starts with disconnecting electrical connectors while pressing the locking tabs inward so you can slide the module towards the vehicle center to remove it from its bracket. Location the esc module onto the bracket then push it from the vehicle center while it engages fully before establishing the esc module electrical connection. Reinstall the rear seat back while placing its insulator in position. The person installing the new ecm should calibrate the control module to remove dtc c0563 while making sure the scan tool operates with the most current chassis application program. Follow the scan tool readout instructions to install the connector on the dlc data link while turning on the ignition with engine off.
