    The process of replacing both the seat cushion trim cover and pad requires starting by removing the vehicle seat followed by stripping off the seat trim panel. The Seat Belt anchor must be detached first by unfastening its outboard nut so you can draw the belt out of the seat cushion. The seat cushion requires the removal of its two front underside nuts before unsnapping the lumbar cable to detach the power lumbar wire harness when equipped. After lifting the seat cushion from rear plastic holders the user must pull forward before removing the seat switch bezel and the lumbar actuator. To separate the Seat Cushion Pad from its trim cover you should unclip the seat trim from the seat cushion frame then use side motions for cautious separation. Take off the pad from the seat frame structure and its heater component if present on the seat. To set up installation proceed with seat cushion heater element installation if present before placing the Seat Cushion Pad to the seat cushion frame. The frame pad accepts the seat cushion cover by pulling it carefully while moving from the side before attaching the seat trim cover to the frame. Begin by installing the lumbar actuator and the seat switch bezel followed by placing the cushion on the rear plastic holders while pushing it toward the back. Treat the lumbar cable as a connection to the seat cushion under surface while dealing with the power lumbar harness when present. The two front nuts should be installed on the underside of the cushion studs before tightening them to 21 n.m (15 lb ft). After feeding the Seat Belt through the seat cushion you should install and tighten the outboard Seat Belt anchor nut to 53 n.m (39 lb ft). Finite measurement will complete the installation by repositioning the seat trim and securing the seat back within the vehicle.

    Begin front seat back cushion cover and cushion pad replacement by taking out the retaining bolts of the bench seat and tilting it towards the back. Drop the springs through the bottom of the seat adjuster before taking out the headrest installed on the seat back. You must unzip the zipper and force the tab sections to detach the headrest guides. First untighten bolts and trim from next to the seat and then detach the seat back from the rest of the frame. Detach the seat back cover from the seat back frame and take away the foam pad from the seat back surface. The preparation begins by laying the foam pad onto the seat back while keeping the seat back cover attached to the seat back frame. Attach the seat back to the seat frame before fastening both the bolts and trim to the sides of the seat. To complete the task place the headrest guides then close the zipper before restoring the headrest onto the seat. Reinstall the springs to the bottom of the seat adjuster followed by installing the seat retaining bolts and tightening them to 55 N.m (41 lb ft).
