    Before starting the 25/3500 series Brake Pad replacement check the brake master cylinder fluid level. Keep the fluid at mid-point when it is between maximum and minimum marks while drain it to mid-point if it is above the marks. After taking out the tire and wheel assembly you need to put large c-clamps over the brake caliper housing and against the back of outboard pad to compress the brake caliper pistons until they are fully retracted. Use mechanic wire as a support to hold the brake caliper when disconnecting it from its mounting position to protect the hydraulic brake hose. To access the inside brake pads you must disconnect the brake caliper bolts and lift the unit from its bracket. Transfer it to mechanics wire suspension for protection. Take off brake pads after removing anti-rattle clips. Examine the brake caliper unit including its mount. Assemble the new anti-rattle clips on the caliper bracket before you connect the brake caliper. Install the brake pads and put the caliper back onto the bracket, making sure to put in the brake caliper bolts and tighten them to 108 nm (80 ft. Lbs.). Put back the wheel assembly along with the tire then take out safety stands and move the vehicle down. Turn off the engine before you slowly push the brake pedal 2/3 of its distance and slowly release it several times until you feel a solid brake reaction from the caliper piston and pads. After finishing install the necessary brake fluid to reach the correct level and smooth the brake pads and rotors.

    Start front pad replacement on the 25/3500 series by checking brake master cylinder fluid level; you can keep the current fluid if the reservoir sits at mid-point between maximum and minimum marks but you need to reduce the fluid if it sits above the midpoint. Insert a caliper compressor tool inside the brake caliper housing and press the two c-clamps tightly to push the pistons completely back. Pull out the brake caliper bolts without pressing the brake pedal as you take both rotors and calipers out. Hold the caliper steady using mechanic's wire without disconnecting the brake hose before you take out the brake pads and remove the old anti-rattle clips. Before adding new parts check the caliper and bracket condition then place the disc brake pads inside properly for 2500 series with wear sensor and 3500 series standards. Secure the caliper to the bracket by installing its bolts and tightening them to 80 ft. Lbs. (108 Nm). Put back the wheel and tire unit then take away the safety stands while lowering the vehicle down. Step on the brake pedal when the engine is off and slowly apply it to about 2/3 of its total range before easing up. Keep performing this action until the pedal feels solid to ensure the brake caliper pistons and pads are correctly seated. Clear brake fluid needs to be added up to the proper mark in the master cylinder tank and pads should be run against rotors to smooth out their surfaces.
