The Power Steering Pump should be placed onto the motor before installing its retaining bolts which should get tightened to 27 nm (20 ft. Lbs.). The installation process should start with refitting the coolant recovery reservoir after which you should reposition the vehicle and reconnect all attachments including wiring harness and power steering pressure and return hoses while executing proper hose tightening to 27 nm (20 ft. Lbs.). Install the Drive Belt while lowering the vehicle and complete power steering system bleeding before conducting a leak inspection.
