The next procedure requires the removal of the Power Steering Pump mounting bolt which is followed by taking out the Power Steering Pump along with the power steering pulley and Power Steering Reservoir. Install the warranty by putting the Power Steering Reservoir first followed by the power steering pulley and finally attach the Power Steering Pump to the vehicle. The Power Steering Pump mounting bolt needs to be installed before you torque it to 50 nm (37 ft. Lbs.). The power steering pressure hose should be connected to the Power Steering Pump before tightening it to 30 nm (22 ft. Lbs.). The power steering return hose must be installed onto the Power Steering Reservoir. Install the Drive Belt followed by draining the vehicle under the pan before proceeding with power steering system bleeding.

Screw the Power Steering Pump mounting bolt into place before tightening it to 50 nm (37 ft. Lbs.). Install the power steering pressure hose into the Power Steering Pump before securing the fitting at 30 nm (22 ft. Lbs.) and proceed to connect the power steering return hose to the Power Steering Reservoir. You should first put away the drain pan then install the Drive Belt followed by bleeding the power steering system.
