    Q:
How to replace the radiator on Buick Terraza? Posted by Customer
    A:
The Radiator replacement process begins with disconnecting the lower transmission oil cooler (TOC) line from the Radiator followed by disassembly of cooling fans and shroud together with Radiator outlet hose and Radiator inlet hose. First remove the bolt which fastens the Radiator to the condenser as well as the condenser tube clip screw. Position the Radiator together with the condenser towards the engine to remove them. Begin Radiator installation before installing the condenser tube clip screw and tighten it to 6 n.m (53 lb in). Fasten the Radiator to the condenser with the bolt while tightening it to 2.5 n.m (22 lb in). Follow the installation process by placing in the Radiator outlet hose then the inlet hose followed by cooling fans and shroud installation. To complete the installation connect the lower transmission oil cooler line to the Radiator before you refill the cooling system while checking the transmission fluid level.

    A:
Start high automotive Radiator replacement by detaching the lower transmission oil cooler line which connects to the Radiator. The first step includes removing cooling fans and shroud then proceeding to remove inlet hose and outlet hose from the Radiator. Beginning with the bolt which anchors the Radiator to the condenser you need to remove it before taking out both the condenser tube clip screw. Position the Radiator and condenser inside toward the motor to uninstall the component. Install the Radiator first and fasten the condenser tube clip screw to 6 n.m (53 lb in) torque followed by installing the bolt that attaches the Radiator to the condenser with a torque of 2.5 n.m (22 lb in). Reinstall the cooling fans along with the shroud and put the Radiator outlet hose together with the Radiator inlet hose into place. The lower transmission oil cooler (TOC) line needs to be attached to the Radiator before refilling the cooling system. Examine the transmission fluid level as the last step.
