    Q:
How to replace the inlet radiator hose (3.4L) on Chevrolet Equinox? Posted by Customer
    A:
One must drain coolant before replacing the radiator inlet hose of a LNJ Chevrolet (3.4L). Start by removing the upper fascia retainers on the radiator support and continuing with removal of the upper radiator bracket bolt along with the upper radiator bracket itself. Start by unscrewing the clamp securing the radiator inlet hose to the radiator before extracting the hose off the radiator. Repeat the clamp installation for the radiator inlet hose at the engine then repeat the hose installation at this location. You should first attach the new radiator inlet hose to the engine by using a clamp before connecting it to the radiator using another clamp to retain it securely. The upper radiator bracket installation should be followed by tightening the upper bracket bolt to 20 Nm (15 lb ft). Follow with fixing and washing the upper fascia retainers after filling the cooling system.
