2007 Chevrolet Equinox Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the inlet radiator hose on a Pontiac on 2007 Chevrolet Equinox?
A: A pontiac replacement of the radiator inlet hose requires first draining part of the coolant. The powertrain control module (PCM) wire harness needs removal from the battery box cover before you detach the pcm bracket along with pcm from the top of the battery cover and carefully set it aside for work. Silently loosen the screws that hold the battery box cover then detach the battery box cover. Start by detaching the vent tube from the battery box side and continuing with radiator inlet hose removal by taking off both clamp and hose from the radiator. Separate the radiator inlet hose from the engine by initially detaching its clamp from the engine before detaching it from the radiator. Start by attaching the radiator inlet hose to the engine and applying the radiator inlet hose clamp for securing it. Attach the radiator inlet hose to its valve while clamping it down with an outlet clamp. Replace the battery box vent tube on its installation point on the battery box then proceed with placing the battery box cover in position while securing screws to 2 n.m (18 lb in). Secure the pcm bracket together with pcm to the top of the battery box cover before connecting the pcm wire harness to this area. Finally, fill the cooling system.
