Lock Assembly, Rear Passenger Side

The rear Door Lock actuator replacement begins with the removal of the rear door water deflector followed by removing the rear door window and its 2 screws that secure the rear window channel until you finally detach the channel. Disconnect the Door Lock electrical connector along with its clip and remove the outside handle rod . The installation process starts with removing the inside handle rod and the lock rod from the rear side Door Lock followed by unlocking and removing the Door Lock through 4 screw removal. Reconnect the back Door Lock by applying 4 screws between the door and lock followed by reinserting both the inside handle rod and lock rod. Use the outside handle rod to attach it to the clip while verifying the push rod movement through outside Door Handle operations; replace or repair the faulty parts if the play falls outside the specified range. Set the push rod play between 0.1 mm to 1.5 mm (0.004-0.06 in) while testing that the door remains locked when in that state and releasing when the key unlocks it. The process ends with channel rear window fastening through 2 screws and window and water deflector installation of the rear door.

Remove the door lock by unscrewing the 4 screws.

Disconnect the clip and remove the outside handle rod.
