    To service the Crankshaft Position Sensor, first ensure that you lift and support the vehicle. Disconnect the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor electrical connector, take off the one bolt, and then the CKP sensor from the engine block. Check the CKP sensor signal rotor for missing or damaged teeth, if possible from the CKP sensor opening. For installation, raise and adequately support the vehicle once more before inserting the CKP sensor in the engine block ensuring that you tighten it with the help of the one bolt, tightening it to 10 N.m (89 lb in). Lastly, fasten the CKP sensor electrical connector, and bring down the vehicle.
