Fuel Gauge Sending Unit

Before starting the process to replace the Fuel Level Sensor, remove the Fuel Tank while obtaining replacement seals for both primary and secondary Fuel Tank module modules. The Fuel Tank contains two separate senders with floats which reside at different Fuel Pump modules since these components cannot exchange positions. Move on to the following step by taking out the Fuel Pump module along with an electrical connector detachment of fuel level sender unit and float from beneath the module's top surface. To remove the level sensor users should release its retaining tabs followed by sliding it upward. Position both the fuel level sender unit with float onto the Fuel Pump module and verify the sender cap confirms to the module installation. Proceed with the electrical connector installation of the fuel level sender unit and float before putting the Fuel Pump module back into the Fuel Tank followed by reinstallation of the Fuel Tank.
