Start the MAP sensor replacement by removing the engine sight shield first. Begin by disconnecting the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor electrical connector and removing the MAP sensor . Prior to installing a new MAP sensor lightly apply clean engine oil to its seal area. Repark the MAP sensor the sensor electrical connector will be connected and finally reinstall the engine sight shield.

Start by removing the engine sight shield before you can replace the Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor. First disconnect the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor electrical connector before you remove the MAP sensor .
