    Maintenance of the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 2 Sensor 2 starts by elevating the vehicle. Unplug the HO2S connector before using the Oxygen Sensor Wrench (J 39194-B) to remove the HO2S. Before installing the sensor threads require an application of anti-seize compound GM P/N 5613695 consisting of liquid graphite and glass beads based on necessity. Use the Oxygen Sensor Wrench (J 39194-B) to install the HO2S and torque it to 42 N.m (31 lb ft). Lower down the vehicle before connecting the HO2S harness connector.

If required, put a coat of GM P/N 5613695 anti-seize compound on the oxygen sensor threads before you install it, since this substance helps with easier removal later. Install the HO2S with the Oxygen Sensor Wrench (J 39194-B) and make sure it is tightened to 42 N.m (31 lb ft). After that, plug in the HO2S harness connector andlower the vehicle back to the ground.
