Position the Fan Shroud onto the vehicle before rotating the slip ring in its original position for installation. The procedure for install includes putting back the differential vent hose retainer followed by a/c suction hose retainer then a/c discharge hose retainer and finally the Radiator Hose-outlet.

Use counterclockwise motion to rotate the slip ring away from under the Fan Shroud before taking out the Fan Shroud . Place the Fan Shroud correctly on the vehicle body then turn the slip ring to where it started before moving on with installation. The installation requires reattaching the differential vent hose retainer followed by the a/c suction hose retainer and finally the Radiator Hose-outlet together with the a/c discharge hose retainer.
