    Q:
How to replace the fan shroud on Chevrolet Camaro? Posted by Customer
    A:
Begin the Fan Shroud replacement process by taking away the Radiator upper support followed by disconnecting both fans and their respective coolant fan electrical connectors and rosebud clips. The vehicle requires adequate lifting and support before you can push the shroud through the mounts to extract it from beneath the vehicle. To carry out the process remove any necessary cooling fan brackets which are attached to the Fan Shroud. The installation process requires placing the cooling fan brackets onto the Fan Shroud after which you install the Fan Shroud into the four retaining tabs on the Radiator. The installation process starts with lowering the vehicle while reattaching electrical connectors to the coolant fans then fits rosebud clips onto fans before creating the Radiator upper support.

    Q:
How to replace the fan shroud on Chevrolet Corvette? Posted by Customer
    A:
The replacement of fan shrouds starts with draining the cooling system and then taking out the Radiator support. User should apply hose clamp pliers (J38185) to reposition Radiator inlet hose clamp before extracted inlet hose. Weaken and support the vehicle properly while disconnecting cool fan electric wiring and separating forward lamp wiring from shroud retaining rings. The hose clamp pliers (J38185) helps you redirect the Radiator outlet hose clamp positioning before you can remove the Radiator outlet hose. Move the vehicle to a lower position and afterward remove the Fan Shroud. The first step for installation requires you to place the Fan Shroud in position while raising the vehicle. You will install the Radiator outlet hose to its position while using hose clamp pliers (J38185) to fasten the Radiator outlet hose clamp. Safely lower the vehicle after installing the forward lamp harness to its Fan Shroud retaining clips and connecting the heating fans electrical connectors. You will conclude the installation process by putting the Radiator inlet hose in place followed by setting the hose clamp pliers (J38185) to relocate the Radiator inlet hose clamp. Next install the Radiator support and execute a cooling system refill.
