Start the front Door Striker replacement by elevating the door window before removing its panel. You should remove the large water deflector so you can reach the back of the door. Trace the striker placement on the door frame before unmounting both of the fasteners that secure the striker in the door's internal section. Eventually detach the striker from the door. When installing the striker position it along the door while making sure the latching pin points at the door latch before tightening fasteners onto the striker. The door lock striker's position should be aligned according to the existing marks before tightening its screws to a torque of 25 nm (18 lb ft). When the old marks are not visible to reference you should utilize an assistant to secure the outboard door panel facing directly on the quarter panel and while you tighten the striker fasteners from within the car maintain the door in a steady flush position. Secure the large water deflector behind the door after fastening it into position then replace the door panel front. Check the proper placement of panels while inspecting the door latch function through both manual mode and electric mode activation.

Replacement of the front Door Striker begins through a process where you must raise the door window while removing the door panel and subsequently the large water deflector before reaching the door's rear area. Use a pen to mark the striker spot on the door edge before removing the strikes inside the door while pulling out the striker itself. The installation requires positioning the striker on the door with its latching pin directed at the door latch before securing the fasteners tightly onto the striker. Secure the striker by tightening screws to 25 n.m (18 lb ft) along the previous mark alignment on the fasteners. Tighten the fasteners securing the striker from inside the vehicle while an assistant holds the outer panel against the quarter section then secure the door lock striker screws to 25 n.m (18 lb ft). Reinstallation of the large water deflector along with the door panel should be followed by checking the panel fitment and door latch function through manual and electric door release operation.

Tighten the fasteners to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).

Remove the striker fasteners from inside the door and take out the striker.

Reinstall the large water deflector, the door panel, and verify the fit of the panels and the operation of the door latch using both the manual and electric door release.

Install the fasteners snugly onto the striker.
