Start by removing the 4 splash shield bolts and then remove the splash shield from the system. Unplug the electrical connector from the Oil Pressure Switch but keep a catch basin ready to catch any leaking oil. Take away both the Oil Pressure Switch. When installing the new Oil Pressure Switch make sure to tighten it to 40 n.m (30 lb ft). Follow this process by connecting the Oil Pressure Switch electrical connector and reinstalling the splash shield by tightening all 4 splash shield bolts to full seating while avoiding bolt stripping. Finally, lower the vehicle.

Fix the engine Oil Pressure Switch to the Oil Pump by applying 40 nm (30 ft. Lbs.) torque. Reconnect the electrical connector to the engine Oil Pressure Switch after completing installation. After engine connection check for oil leaks by starting the engine then set the engine oil level at its full mark.
