    Q:
How to replace the Coolant Reservoir for different engine types on GMC Envoy? Posted by Customer
    A:
To delete the Coolant Reservoir, initially eliminate the air cleanser combo for the 4.2l engine or even the 4.8l, 5.3l, 6.0l, 6.2l, or even 7.0l engine, after that eliminate the accumulator. Secondly, remove the lines from the Coolant Reservoir and plug the lines and the reservoir outlets on the lines using appropriate plugs. Unscrew the nut and bolt fixing the Coolant Reservoir and remove the reservoir before doing anything else. To install, set the Coolant Reservoir and bolt, the bolt should be tightened up to 12 n.m (106 lb in) while the nut should be tighten up to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Connect the reattached coolant hose to the Coolant Reservoir, then re-install the accumulator and air cleaner assembly of the respective engine types back.
