    Q:
How to Service and Repair Canister Purge Valves on Chevrolet Tracker? Posted by Customer
    A:
Begin evap Canister Purge Valves repair by checking for loose carbon particles which could have damaged the part and additional components within the system. The first step includes detaching the purge hose and the intake manifold purge hose from the evap Canister Purge Valves and then disconnecting its electrical connector. First disconnect the engine's evap Canister Purge Valves along with bracket before you take off the purge valve retaining nut to separate the evap Canister Purge Valves from its bracket. A thorough examination of both the evap purge valves and its associated evap purge system must happen before proceeding with valve replacement. The evap purge system must be void of debris before mounting the evap Canister Purge Valves onto the bracket. Then use the nut to lock the valves into position while applying 1.6 n.m (14 lb in) of torque. Start by installing the electrical connector to the device and then add the intake manifold purge hose and evap canister purge hose to the evap Canister Purge Valves.
