How to Replace Canister Purge Valves on 2003 Chevrolet Tracker?

The purge hose needs disconnecting from the valves before checking the EVAP canister for loose carbon particles responsible for failure prevention. Remove first the electrical connector from the valves then disconnect the intake manifold purge hose. First remove the engine bracket and the valves before proceeding with the purge valve retaining nut removal to take off the EVAP canister purge valves from their bracket. Secure the EVAP canister purge valves to their bracket through the nut before tightening them to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in). Reinstall the electrical connector after which install the intake manifold purge hose and end by connecting the purge hose to the valves.
