    A: The first step of evap Canister Purge Valves replacement involves disconnecting both the purge hose and the intake manifold purge hose and the electrical connector attached to the valves. First remove the valves along with their bracket from the engine space before uninstalling the purge valve retaining nut. Then separate the valves from the bracket. The evap canister along with purge system must undergo carbon particle inspection before placing the new valves. Use new evap Canister Purge Valves to install them on their bracket while fastening them with the given nut until reaching a torque of 1.6 n.m (14 lb in). The installation process requires reconnecting the electrical connector, the intake manifold purge hose and the purge hose to their respective places.
