The installation starts by removing the thermal expansion valve-auxiliary unit from the Evaporator core-auxiliary circuits while the technician compares and disposes of the o-ring seals from the Evaporator core-auxiliary system and ensures to cap or tape the lines to avoid contamination. First cut off tape or cap from Evaporator core-auxiliary lines before adding a new o-ring to install the thermal expansion valve-auxiliary. The technician must use a back up wrench to tighten the flare nuts to 5 n.m (44 lb in). Afterward install foam insulators on both the Evaporator core-auxiliary lines and the thermal expansion valve-auxiliary before reattaching the Evaporator core-auxiliary.
