    Q:
How to replace the coolant pipe on Chevrolet Astro? Posted by Customer
    A:
In order to replace the Engine Oil Cooler Hose/Pipe, you need to make sure the engine is not hot to prevent burns. Start by fitting a drain pan underneath the oil filter adapter and remove the oil cooler lines from the oil filter adapter assembly. Pull the oil cooler line to engine clip bolt and pull out the oil cooler lines from the engine clip. Taking away the wire will help with reading the data. Disconnect the oil cooler lines from the radiator connector fitting using a small pick-type tool or screwdriver; release one end of the retaining clip and remove the clip and discard it. Burnishing related to cleaning, subsequent drying of all components by compressed air and checks on the connector fittings, connectors, and engine oil cooler lines lsf any twisting and distortion. When you are installing the new engine oil cooler lines, inspect for a missing or destroyed plastic cap and replace it if needed. Replace new retaining clips on the radiator connector fittings and make sure they snap in. Attach the engine oil cooler lines to the connector fittings, checking for a click heard or felt and then pull the lines back to confirm the tightness of the connections. Next, connect the engine oil cooler lines to the engine clip and attach the engine clip bolt with 10 Nm (89 inch lbs). Finally, attach the engine oil cooler lines to the oil filter adapter assembly and pull the bolt to 35 Nm (26 ft.lbs.) of torque. Start the engine and verify the oil cooler lines for leakage.
