Initiating the cruise release switch replacement procedure requires removal of the instrument panel insulator. First remove the cruise release switch from the brake pedal bracket by disconnecting its electrical connector then taking out the switch from its retainer. Fit the cruise release switch between the retainer on the brake pedal bracket while also reconnecting the electrical connector for installation. When installed properly you can adjust the cruise release switch before installing the left instrument panel insulator.
