How to replace the exhaust pipe crossover on 2000 Buick Century?

Start the exhaust crossover replacement process by taking off the throttle body air inlet duct followed by exhausting the crossover heat shield bolts and removing the heat shield. Finally, remove the exhaust crossover pipe bolts and the pipe. Proceed by removing both exhaust crossover pipe bolts followed by the removal of the pipe. Install the exhaust crossover pipe by referring to the fastener notice in service precautions and torque all bolts to 25 nm (18 ft. Lbs.). Reconnect the exhaust crossover heat shield to its bolts while tightening them to 10 nm (89 inch lbs.) before reattaching the throttle body air inlet duct.
