How to replace the exhaust crossover exhaust pipe on a 3.1L engine on 2001 Buick Century?

Start replacement of the 3.1l engine exhaust crossover pipe by first removing the throttle body air inlet duct and then removing the heat shield bolts before taking out the heat shield. Proceed by removing all bolts from the exhaust crossover pipe then completely remove the crossover pipe from the setup. Install the new exhaust crossover pipe by positioning it correctly before torquing exhaust crossover pipe bolts to 25 nm (18 ft. Lbs.). Compute the proper torque when fastening the heat shield using 10 nm (89 inch lbs.) followed by securing it with the already installed bolt. Reattach the throttle body air inlet duct as the last step.
