Service of the EGR Tube begins with turning off the ignition. Start by removing the bolt from the egr pipe assembly which connects to the valve after which gently extract the pipe assembly. You need to remove the egr pipe nut from the Exhaust Manifold before taking off the egr pipe. Installation starts by attaching the EGR Valve pipe to the Exhaust Manifold before torquing the egr pipe nut to 25 n.m (18 lb ft). The egr pipe bolt needs to be installed onto the EGR Valve followed by tightening it to 25 n.m (18 lb ft).
