How to service the Mass Air Flow Sensor on 2000 Buick Park Avenue?

To service the mass air flow (MAF) sensor, the first step being the ignition turned off as well as removing the fuel injection sight shield. Detach the maf sensor from the Throttle Body assembly by disconnecting the maf sensor's electrical connector from the maf sensor and removing the screws that are securing the maf sensor to the Throttle Body. After unhooking the maf sensor from the Throttle Body, you should replace the new maf sensor to the Throttle Body keeping in mind the fastener notice in serve precautions. Secure the maf sensor by installing the screws and tighten them further to 3 n.m (27 lb in). Lastly, plug the maf sensor electrical connector back to the maf sensor, and reinstall the fuel injection sight shield.
