How to replace the lower intake manifold on 2000 Buick Regal?

Start the process of lower Intake Manifold replacement by disconnecting the battery's negative cable. Unload the cooling system liquids before removing the supercharger then the Thermostat Housing. Start by disconnecting the EGR Tube from the Intake Manifold then unplug the electrical sensor connection at the temp sensor. The coolant bypass tube must release during Intake Manifold removal before gaskets get removed from the manifold. The installation of a new manifold requires cleaning all oil residue from the cylinder block and cylinder heads and Intake Manifold sealing surface with appropriate solvent while also removing adhesive compound from Intake Manifold bolts and bolt holes. Gm-endorsed sealing material should be applied to Intake Manifold seal ends while gm-endorsed thread locking compound must be used on Intake Manifold bolts. When installing the Intake Manifold gaskets you must position the coolant bypass tube correctly and set the Intake Manifold into place afterward. Tighten the Intake Manifold bolts using a sequence that reaches 15 nm torque (11 ft. Lbs. Force). Follow these installation steps: reconnect the temperature sensor electrical connector before installing the EGR Tube onto the Intake Manifold and then attach the Thermostat Housing. Replace the supercharger before properly filling the cooling system. Connect the battery ground (negative) wiring the last.
