    A: The first step to replace the right Exhaust Manifold requires the removal of the Oxygen Sensor. Lift up your vehicle before you detach the Exhaust Manifold air tube by removing its two nuts as well as the exhaust front pipe's nuts. The real time dampening sensor links need to be disconnected from both the lower control arms together with the intermediate shaft from the steering gear. A tall screw jack must support the rear cross member of the engine cradle before you remove the four cradle-to-body bolts which will allow the engine cradle to descend. First remove the right side Cylinder Head to transaxle brace before breaking the nuts on the Exhaust Manifold either with an open end wrench or universal coupling tools. Clear the manifold from the engine while getting rid of the gasket as you proceed to clean and inspect the Exhaust Manifold. Position the new manifold gasket over each Cylinder Head stud before installing the manifold along with its nuts and tightening them to 25 nm (18 ft. Lbs.). The reinstallation of the right side Cylinder Head to the transaxle brace requires both bolt and nut tightening with 47 nm (35 ft. Lbs.) torque. Position the engine cradle and install its four rearward bolts towards the body while applying torque of 191 nm (141 ft. Lbs.). Set aside the screw jack and join the intermediate shaft with the steering gear before securing the pinch bolt at 47 nm (35 ft. Lbs.). After mounting the real time dampening sensor links to the lower control arms the technician must install the exhaust front pipe. The new gasket should be installed onto the air tube while also tightening the two nuts that connect the air tube to the Exhaust Manifold to 12 nm (106 inch lbs.). Lower the vehicle and mount the Oxygen Sensor as the last step.
