Initiating left Exhaust Manifold replacement requires removing both air tube nuts from the Exhaust Manifold before extracting the Engine Mount along with its bracket. Support the vehicle while it is in the air then detach the two bolts securing the manifold outlet flange. The replacement of the Exhaust Manifold requires removal of the Oxygen Sensor according to the heated Oxygen Sensor (H02S) replacement - bank 2 process. After sensor extraction you must remove all manifold bolts to remove the manifold with its gasket which needs disposal. Inspection and cleaning of the Exhaust Manifold must take place. Place the outlet pipe inside the exhaust crossover partially until the manifold positions properly for installation. Install a new gasket to the manifold while using two bolts for attachment. Position the manifold in place before tightening the rest of the manifold bolts to 25 nm (18 ft. Lbs.). Position the two bolts at the manifold outlet flange before tightening them to 25 nm (18 ft. Lbs.). Follow the heated Oxygen Sensor (H02S) replacement - bank 2 guidelines to install the Oxygen Sensor before reinstalling the Engine Mount along with its bracket. After lowering the vehicle you should attach new gaskets to the air tube before fastening the two nuts that connect it to the Exhaust Manifold while torquing them to 12 nm (106 inch lbs.).

The first step to replace the left Exhaust Manifold includes unfastening the two air tube retaining nuts from the Exhaust Manifold before removing the Engine Mount together with the bracket. Support the car and unscrew the two bolts from the outlet flange of the manifold. The Oxygen Sensor should be eliminated if needed. The Exhaust Manifold bolts should then be extracted while the manifold needs to be taken away from the engine bay with its gasket. Discard the gasket when doing so. A thorough inspection together with cleaning must happen for the Exhaust Manifold. Place the outlet pipe inside the exhaust crossover pipe partially while positioning the manifold for installation. Fasten two bolts around a new gasket placed on the manifold surface. Professional manufacturer offers an outlet pipe allen wrench for assembly along with a torque wrench to apply 25 nm (18 ft. Lbs.) tension to the remaining manifold bolts. Apply two bolts onto the manifold outlet flange before tightening them to 25 nm (18 ft. Lbs.). After reinstallation of the Oxygen Sensor, perform the steps of replacing the Engine Mount together with the bracket. After lowering the vehicle you need to install a new gasket on the air tube followed by nut attachment to the Exhaust Manifold at 12 nm (106 inch lbs. Torque setting).

Ensure it is seated before installing the pinch bolt, then connect it to the steering gear and install the pinch bolt, tightening it to 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.).

Position it to the power steering gear, install the 2 bolts securing the heat shield, and tighten them to 9 Nm (79 inch lbs.).

Reconnect the real-time dampening sensor links to the lower control arms.

Remove the front exhaust manifold pipe seal from the left exhaust manifold and the exhaust manifold flange seal retainer, then clean and inspect the left exhaust manifold.

Lower the vehicle and install the oxygen sensor.

Position it to the power steering gear, install the two bolts securing it, and tighten them to 9 Nm (79 inch lbs.).

Disconnect the post heated oxygen sensor wiring harness retainer.

First, remove the oxygen sensor.

Tighten them to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
