How to service the Mass Air Flow Sensor on 2000 Cadillac DeVille?

You should start servicing the mass air flow (MAF) sensor by disconnecting its electrical connector before removing the clamps which fasten the maf/iat sensor assembly to both the air cleaner and the intake air duct. After that, remove the maf/iat sensor from these components. Before putting the maf/iat sensor inside the air cleaner you must carefully remove it from its position between the air cleaner and intake air duct. Commence installation by inserting the maf/iat sensor into the air cleaner and intake air duct before fixing it with clamps which you should tighten to 3 n.m (26 lb in). Terminate the maf/iat sensor electrical connector for completion.
