  A: The first step to replace the condenser requires using the a/c refrigerant recovery recycling and recharging system (J 39500-B) for refrigerant recovery. To start the condenser replacement work begin by disconnecting the negative Battery Cable followed by removing all secondary components like core support filler panel, air cleaner assembly, hood release cable, sir discriminating sensor as well as front engine torque struts. Start by disconnecting the upper transmission cooler line from the Radiator before removing the cooling fans then detach the condenser inlet and outlet lines . First clear the way by uninstalling the Radiator core upper support and the condenser to Radiator attachment bolts before extracting the condenser. The electronic halogen leak detector (J 39400-A) must be used for new condenser installation before securing the mounting bolts at 12 n.m (9 lb ft).
