Begin by removing the air cleaner assembly and continuing with the compressor suction hose extraction from the accumulator then the compressor discharge hose extraction from the condenser. Next, take out the A/C Compressor together with the compressor hose assembly that is mounted on the vehicle. To reinstall the compressor hose assembly the electronic halogen leak detector (J 39400-A) must be used followed by installing the A/C Compressor onto the vehicle. The compressor splash shield and retainers should be installed before lowering the vehicle. Tighten both the condenser's discharge hose to 24 n.m (18 lb ft) while the accumulator hose requires equivalent torque value. To complete the job install the air cleaner assembly before checking the engine oil needs refilling and recharging the a/c system while testing for leaks.
