A replacement should begin with the removal of radiator cooling fans. Position the engine lift bracket (J 42504) followed by installing the engine support fixture adapters (J 42478) and then finally install the engine support fixture (J 28467-A). The first step involves raising and supporting the vehicle before removing the two nuts linking the mount to the frame along with the mount bracket nuts linking to the engine block. Lower the vehicle after unbolting the installation between the brace and transaxle next. Unfasten the two bolts that connect the Engine Mount bracket to the engine block before removing the mount with its bracket. Start by mounting bracket and bracket before setting the two upper bolts loosely to secure the mount bracket with the engine. After re-supporting the vehicle return to complete the installation. Install the engine support brace before securing it with loose nuts and the supporting bolt to the support brace. Crank down the nuts securing the mount to the frame by beginning with the mount bracket left nut at 41 nm (30 ft. Lbs.) then proceeding toward the mount bracket right nut to 41 nm (30 ft. Lbs.), the engine brace bolt to 50 nm (37 ft. Lbs.) and concluding with the mount nuts to 50 nm (37 ft. Lbs.) and the two upper mount brace bolts to 50 nm (37 ft. Lbs.). Continue the process by lowering the vehicle and afterward remove three main tools: engine support fixture (J 28467-A) and engine support fixture adapters (J 42478) in addition to engine lift bracket (J 42504). The last step involves reinstallation of radiator cooling fans.
